The Trek Runner
The excitement had gotten to us.. Third Day of the trek and we were still going on and on.. This place where we trekked on the last day is never visited by anyone.. So it remains untouched, wild and bare.. The man in the picture is SANDY.. He just runs and runs and runs.. And yes all of us were excited.. But i guss Bharath and I were more engrossed in photography.. The photo was shot with the sun hitting the camera directly and thus i had to tweak the settings a little to get this composition.. As i’ve been telling, THIS PLACE HAS TO BE VISITED..
Lead By Light
The nights at Kodachadri are fun. Staying at the IB gives you the best possible experience ever cause even the most basic facilities are out of reach. The source of light for the whole night happened to be this little candle. It was fun though. The place is actually so nice, at night the IB guys put a fire outside the Bunglow cause its real cold up there. And one look up and you find like a billion stars. The start studded sky, the camp fires, the candle lit nights, home like food and The Pals make this trip really awesome. We could sleep very less up there. And the next day we had to trek more!!
Forestor!
The three of us were quite silent. It was around 7:30. And we were walking……..
All around i could see tree cover. It was cold too. The only sound i could hear was from the birds, insects and our marching steps. I went ahead of them, as always looking for a good shot. I was infact looking out for some of the birds that were making the sound. I stopped for a moment to look around and i looked up. This my friends is the result of that stop. I consider this photo the only photo that was properly taken throughout the trek. Kodachadri is beautiful. Throughout the trek i was itching to run ahead cause of its beauty. But enjoyed it slow and steady.
